Complex Organisations

Organisations are fast evolving from the traditional functionally divided, hierachically layered “machine mindset” type to a more flexible matrix “organic mindset” type.

This evolution from a deterministic way of leading an organisation towards a more non-deterministic approach is part of a wider trend that can be seen in many fields. For example in science there is a similar trend; this is where
